LION

Male 3yrs, 74lbs

Available for Adoption

Hello!   My name might be Lion, but I am sweet and gentle as a lamb!    Here is what my foster family in Canada wants you to know:

Lion is very affectionate and has the sweetest personality. He has a heart of gold! He will be your shadow and is very curious on where you are going and what you are doing. He is quiet and doesn’t bark unless he hears someone at the door or walking into the house. He is great with kids.  Lion gets very excited when he meets people and has a tendency to jump, but this is very short lived and trainable.   He walks great on leash but pulls a bit.  He loves to “borrow” toys and socks, not to chew but to prance around with them proudly in his mouth.    Lion is not being fostered with cats, but has been great  meeting other dogs (both big and small), we believe with proper introduction, he would be good with cats.

Rescue partners in Canada provide care and safe, loving homes during the foster period.    During this time, the Goldens are vetted by a licensed Canadian Veterinarian, receiving rabies, DHPP vaccine and Canadian medical passport.   Once the foster period is complete, the Goldens are considered Canadian dogs and available for adoption.    GRSF pays $3700 to help cover the expense of international airfare, ground transportation, vaccines, and Canada vet expense, foster care, airfare to Florida and other miscellaneous expenses.   Therefore, we request a minimum donation of $2200.
