Male, 1yr 54lbs
Available for Adoption
I’m Leo, I'm about a year old. I'm putting away my boots and parka...putting on my sandals and tropical harness and heading to Florida! I'm looking for my forever family. Here's what I hope that will be. I love kids. I'd love a fenced yard as I have lots of good puppy energy. Other dogs to play with would be awesome, as well. My fosters here in Canada have been helping me be really good on a leash. But, let's remember, I'm still kind of a puppy. Everything I see excites me. I love hanging with my people. I can cuddle as well as play. I'm not real big. About 54 pounds. But as you can see from pictures...I'm very, very handsome. Got my passport, do I have my new Family? Hope so!
From Leo's Foster
If I could create the perfect family dog, it would be Leo. He has been wonderful with our children (3yrs and 5 yrs). He still has the perfect mix of puppy and perfect chill and cuddle. Has not been tested with cats, but no prey drive, so with proper introduction, we think he will be good with cats.
Rescue partners in Canada provide care and safe, loving homes during the foster period. During this time, the Goldens are vetted by a licensed Canadian Veterinarian. Once the foster period is complete, the Goldens are considered Canadian dogs and available for adoption. GRSF pays $3700 to help cover the expense of international airfare, ground transportation, vaccines, and Canada vet expense, foster care, airfare to Florida and other miscellaneous expenses. Therefore, we request a minimum donation of $2200.
