B'nei Mitzvah donation

Rafi & Liora adopted their wonderful Golden Abby from GRSF. When the time for planning for their Bar & Bat Mitvahs came. They decided to help our rescue for their Bnei Mitzvah project. Here is how they explained what and why they wanted to help us

Dear Friends and Family and Golden lovers,
             Many of you know that there are no longer just the four of us in our family. We have had a golden retriever, Abby, for three years. For our B’nei Mitzvah project, we are raising money for the Golden Rescue of South Florida, the place we adopted Abby from. It is a wonderful organization that rescues golden retrievers and sometimes other dogs, often provides much needed medical attention and spays and neuters them.  It also provides loving foster homes, and helps the dogs find permanent homes, like Abby found us. Last year, their medical bills totaled over $50,000 and they found homes for over 150 dogs. It is a great organization and by donating money, you will help them care for many more Goldens. In January, our family went to the second annual golden retriever reunion and fundraising picnic. There were over 100 dogs there that the rescue had found homes for. It helped show all of the time and effort that the organization puts in to make the dogs happy and healthy. These are some pictures from the event.
